Command bar
Available onmacOSWindowsPro
The command bar sits under the workbench and lets you change the current note by telling Scribe0 what to do: type or dictate a short instruction such as “make it more concise”, “turn the plan into bullet points”, or “remove the medication list”. The result lands as a new version tab, so the note you started from is untouched and you can flip back.
Using it
Section titled “Using it”- Focus the version you want to change.
- Type the instruction, or tap the command bar’s mic and say it. The mic uses the same on-device speech recognition as dictation.
- The edited note opens as a new tab alongside the original.
Command bar or SmartEdit?
Section titled “Command bar or SmartEdit?”- A one-off change for this note: use the command bar.
- A correction you find yourself making every time with a given prompt: save it as a SmartEdit so it happens automatically from now on.
- Command bar edits are a Pro feature and run on the sovereign cloud route (an Australian Bedrock endpoint), regardless of which enhance backend you have selected.
- The same fidelity rules apply as for Enhance: dictated doses, dates, and results are protected from being “corrected”.
