Say “can you do a literature review on whether iptacopan would be suitable here” during a consult and, once the note is enhanced, a suggestion chip appears carrying a research question. Tap it and Scribe0 searches Consensus, an academic search engine over peer-reviewed papers, and shows the results in an evidence panel.

From the panel you can add citations to the Context Cart, so your next enhance drafts with the evidence at hand, or insert a references block into the note, which undoes like any hand edit.

The question is the privacy boundary

The chip shows the exact question that will be sent, rephrased on your Mac into a self-contained query naming the drugs, conditions, and outcomes in play, and never the patient’s name, age, or any identifying detail. Hover the chip to see the dictated words that produced it.

Nothing is sent anywhere until you tap. Dismiss the chip and no request is ever made.

Bring your own Consensus account

Searches run against your own Consensus account, connected once in Settings → Integrations via the standard browser sign-in. A free Consensus account works; Scribe0 never sees your Consensus password, and disconnecting revokes the stored token.

Detection is by intent, not keyword

Like actions and referrals, the request is detected by what you meant, not by a magic phrase: “look up the evidence for”, “is there any research on”, and “check whether studies support” all work. Detection runs on your Mac; a request you only talked about (“we reviewed the literature last year”) produces no chip.
